COMMUNITY Republic of Ireland have agreed to make their country into a legal for same-sex marriage, be it lesbian or gay.
Republic of Ireland is now listed as the first country to legalize it
through the referendum, and also becomes the 14th state to recognize
same-sex marriage.
More than 62 percent voted in favor of amendments to the state constitution to 'happy' gay and lesbian couples.
Reporting from Irish Time, Sunday (24/5), Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny praised the country's historic step. "With the vote today we have revealed who we are. A person who is generous, compassionate, brave and fun," he said.
A total of 1.2 million inhabitants of Ireland approved the legality of same-sex marriage. South Dublin city became the city with the most votes, with nearly 75 percent of citizens agree. The minimum support obtained from Roscommon town.
The prime minister of Ireland, Enda Kenny welcomed happily on the
results of the referendum, he also endorsed the same-sex marriage
formally and become state statutes.
"Countries
that do not ratify wedding differentiate their types. The answer is
'yes' for all the love and 'Yes' for their wedding.
