33-year-old goalkeeper is now officially belongs to the Gunners, after defending fellow London team, Chelsea in 500 appearances since coming from Rennes (France) 11 years ago.
"I am very excited to join Arsenal and can not wait to join the team for pre-season. I still have the same commitment to football, the same motivation and is still hungry when I began my degree as a career. I love the challenge," said goalkeeper nationals Czech Republic was on Arsenal's official website on Monday (29/6) night.
The site does not explain the details of the transfer of Cech, but from a variety of sources believed Arsenal must spend as deep as 11 million pounds, equivalent to Rp231 billion.
"When Arsene Wenger (Arsenal team architect) spoke to me about his ambitions for the club, and how he sees me as a part of this team, I am confident and clear with what I decided," added Cech.
