Chelyabinsk - A three-day-old baby was found surrounded by ants and
weeping in the forest area of Russia, Chelyabinsk after being
abandoned by her parents.
As reported by the Daily Mail last week, police immediately began an
investigation after a newborn was found walking on the outskirts of
Chelyabinsk in central Russia.
The baby might not survive long if he has not found someone who decides to take a shortcut on the way to work.
A police spokesman said, "The man who found the baby girl heard her
crying and investigate and found the child lying in a pile of leaves and
surrounded by ants."
"It's clear that the child had been abandoned and no one else is looking, so they take it and call an ambulance."
Baby still had the umbilical cord attached when she was discovered by a person, who was traveling to work. After treatment for ant bites, the baby is now stabilized and are expected to full recovery.
He is being treated at a hospital in Chelyabinsk and the police are trying to trace his parents.
